About Our Owner

Eugene Neal

Fitness has been my life for the last 20 years.  I first received my Bachelors of Science in physical education and Kinesiology in 2003 from Northern Illinois University.

I served in the United States Marine Corps from early 2003 to late 2005.  After being wounded in Iraq my career as a Marine was cut short.  I was able to go back to school and earn my Masters in Education from American Intercontinental University.

After getting out of the Marines I went back to the career I knew; fitness and personal training.  I quickly earned the title of Fitness Manager, where my job was to manage, train and develop certified personal trainers.

I've earned several certifications over the years like:

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine: Certified Personal Trainer

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine: Corrective Exercise Specialist

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine: Performance Enhancement Specialist

  • CrossFit Level 1

  • AFFA

  • YogaFit Level 1

  • Combine 360 (IMG Academy)

Through all of my experience I remain connected and passionate about my military brothers and sisters who didn't have the opportunities or education that I had going into the Marine Corps.

Many of us have a hard time adapting to civilian life.  Many of us feel as though we never quite fit in or belong anywhere.  All of us who have seen combat know that our civilian counterparts can never understand the mindset that we have had to adopt to ensure mission success every time.

This mindset is EXACTLY what makes us well suited to be coaches and personal trainers. We are driven by success at all costs. Our clients success is our own! Here at Unbroken we train veterans and transitioning military to become the best of the best personal trainers who will stop at  nothing to help you achieve your results.

By giving our veterans a purpose where they can change lives, impact people and make good money while having a flexible schedule we hope to help mitigate the astounding statistic of 22 veterans who commit suicide every single day. If you are a veteran out there you have a home at UNBROKEN!
